C. Preston McCormack MD

Dr. McCormack was born in Texas but moved to Arkansas in 1999 and claims it as home. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of the Ozarks with a plan to pursue a degree in medicine, however he paused this pursuit and spent 4 years in NWA after marrying the love of his life and focusing on family. He went on to complete his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2015. During this time he was awarded the Roberts Key Award (graduating top of medical school class) and inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha in 2014. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UAMS & Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and is currently double boarded in both specialties. Upon completion of his residency, he was chosen to be Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Arkansas Children’s Hospital the 2018-2019 academic year. He then joined the General Internal Medicine Division at UAMS as an Associate Professor. Though he enjoyed his time here, it did not allow him to practice the style of medicine that allowed him to form meaningful connections with his patients. In 2022, he opened his own practice, Perspective Health, a Direct Primary Care Clinic.

Currently, he is fully engaged with trying to enhance the presence of direct primary care to patients in central and Northwest Arkansas. He continues to serve as the Pediatrician at the joint Our House/Arkansas Children’s Hospital Clinic at the Our House main campus. In his spare time, he most enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their three amazing children. He enjoys all things outdoors, plants (as you will see in the clinic), Razorback sports, cooking, and traveling.

Caleb Guthrey MD

Dr. Guthrey was born and raised in Jonesboro Arkansas. He completed his undergraduate training at Arkansas State University where he received degrees in both Biology and Chemistry. After graduating in 2012 he moved to Little Rock where he obtained his MD from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2016. He then furthered his education by staying at UAMS and entering the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency that same year. He completed this in 2020 and became double board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. After graduating residency, he joined the General Internal Medicine faculty as an Associate Professor at UAMS and helped to start their first Med-Peds clinic at Rahling Road. While at UAMS, he taught residents and had his own private clinic there for 4 years. He is grateful for his time there and the memories he made with his patients and colleagues, but while he remains active in a teaching role at UAMS, he was unable to practice the style of medicine that he aspired to and ultimately left to join Preston at Perspective Health in June of 2024.

Since joining Perspective Health, he has dedicated himself to improving the health of Arkansans using the Direct Primary Care model. He maintains and active teaching role and continues to serve at the joint Arkansas Children’s Hospital/Our House clinic on the main campus of Our House. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jordan, and his 2-year-old daughter. He is an avid golfer, loves to BBQ, and enjoys all things Razorback sports.
